René Roy, agr., is an Agro-economist with the Valacta R&D team since 2007. A graduate from Laval University, René is well known in the field of agribusiness management. He worked as Management Advisor at the Groupe conseil agricole de la Côte-du-Sud since the early 80’s, and was regional coordinator of the Eastern Quebec GCA’s. In 2002, he was the recipient of the Rivet Award, saluting his great contribution to the development of agricultural management. He gave numerous conferences and wrote several articles in specialized publications.
