Objective: to centralize, clarify and circulate, in a quick and efficient manner,
the most up-to-date scientific knowledge and everyday know-how related to dairy production.

• Research and development, particularly in the area of production data analysis and in the creation of farm management software tools (Vision2000, Agri-Lacta Suite).
  
  
• Collaboration with Novalait inc. in establishing a pilot-farm network to facilitate research work and to accelerate the implementation of promising results.
  
  
• Participation with Canadian dairy industries agencies for the development and enforcement of rigorous and uniform milk recording standards across Canada.
  
  
• Coordination of several working committees comprised of dairy sector partners. These committees identify the key issues and challenges in their respective fields of activity. They propose action plans that, once approved by the Board of Directors, are sent to all dairy industry partners throughout Quebec.
  
  
• Development of joint projects and partnerships with other industry organizations, specialized media, academic institutions and other agencies in Québec, in Canada and on the international scene.
