Breeding data: available in your XML-TIP file beginning November 12
Valacta and its partners are always eager to simplify the life of their clients,
in particular data entry and data exchange.
So, beginning November 12, 2007, in collaboration with the Canadian Dairy Network,
CIAQ and their Semex Alliance partners, the breeding-related data for animals recorded
by AI technicians will be transferred to the Canadian milk recording database, Vision2000.
This data will then be included in the XML downloads for users of TIP services.
The main benefits will be improved data quality and the addition
of breeding dates that might not have been entered in Agri-Lacta.
New version of Agri-Lacta needed
In order to benefit from this improvement, changes had to be made to the content of the XML-TIP file.
These changes require that you install version 3.4.3 of Agri-Lacta so that data can download properly.
The updated version is available on the Siga Farm Software web site www.siga.net,
following the link Internet Updates, Dairy Softwares.
